No Referendum on Charging Entrance Fee to Zaanse Schans
A majority of the municipal council of Zaanstad does not want a referendum on the announced levy of entrance fees for the Zaanse Schans. A group of critics of the plan had submitted a request for a referendum under the motto ‘Keep the Zaanse Schans open!’. That request was not granted.
