No foul play suspected after man found dead in Goose Creek

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Goose Creek officers are investigating Tuesday evening after a man was found dead behind a convenience store. Goose Creek Police Chief LJ Roscoe said a man was found dead in the woods behind the 7/11 at I-76 and St. James Avenue. An investigation is ongoing. No foul play is suspected in the man’s death, according to Chief Roscoe. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the deceased.
