- UConn shot efficiently, hitting 54.1% from the field and 16 of 31 in three-point shooting while converting 13 offensive rebounds into 23 points and winning the rebounding battle 37-24.
- For coach Greg McDermott and the Bluejays, the defeat matched the most lopsided home loss in his 16 seasons, and they have lost two straight by a combined 51 points.
- Looking ahead, UConn will host Xavier on Tuesday at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford at 7 p.m. and meet Creighton in Storrs on February 18, 2026.
