- The UCLA Bruins entered the poll after winning their second straight Big Ten crown, while Iowa moved up to seventh despite losing in the Big Ten Conference Women's Tournament final.
- UConn will face Villanova for the Big East title Monday night, and both UConn and UCLA are expected to be the top two when the NCAA bracket is revealed Sunday night.
- Conference tournament outcomes also reshuffled rankings, as Texas jumped South Carolina after winning the SEC Tournament, leaving the SEC with eight Top 25 teams and the Big Ten with seven.
