- After falling behind 3-0, Florida ran off 10 straight points and led 39-29 at halftime with Chinyelu scoring 11 points and grabbing 13 rebounds by then; the Gators used 7-0, 5-0, and 8-0 second-half scoring runs to pull away.
- With his rebounds and double-doubles, Rueben Chinyelu moved into the program's top 10 with 312 rebounds, and a late bucket with 17:27 left clinched his 1,000th-career point.
