A local organization is raising money to convert a vacant Troy church building into a Jewish community center, designed to serve those who don’t have religious facilities nearby. In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, Congregation Levi Yitzchak hosted the Morristown community for a meaningful farbrengen, featuring guest speaker Rabbi Aryeh Weinstein, shliach to Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The farbrengen included opening remarks from Rabbi Chaim Shapiro and Rabbi Mendy Herson, and continued late into the night.
