NIU to increase tuition cost by 5% for FY ‘26

DeKALB- NIU is increasing tuition and room and board fees by 5% for all incoming students while also increasing additional fees for all current and incoming students for fiscal year 2026. A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at noon on Feb. 20 in Altgeld Hall, room 315.
