The accumulated air quality data from January to May of this year are the best of the entire historical series. The records of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) demonstrate a reduction of this atmospheric pollutant to more than half of what was achieved in May 2019 - from 62 micrograms per cubic meter to 30 μg/m3. In that year, Central Madrid was already in force.
