Nipissing Women's hockey team falls in Friday morning play-in game

The Nipissing Lakers Women’s hockey team hockey season ended with a painful 2-1 loss to the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.  The game went Friday morning at the West Ferris Arena in an OUA playoff play-in game.  Their usual home, Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens, was booked this weekend for the Home and Garden Show. The 4th seeded Lakers played the 5th seeded Ridgebacks to earn the right to play 1st place Queens in round one of the playoffs.
