In Nijmegen, vulnerable elderly people are having to make way for asylum seekers. The Nijevelt residential care centre on the Heyendaalseweg, until recently a safe haven for people with dementia and physical disabilities, will soon be transformed into an asylum seekers' centre. The location will soon house 300 refugees, Omroep Gelderland reports.
