Amy Moore, 25, of Hopkinsville, came to Hopkinsville’s annual Night to Shine prom Friday night ready to do what she said she loves most, dance with her friends.

More than 180 participants attended the Night to Shine at Redemption Christian Church on Friday evening. The special prom-like event for individuals with special needs crowns everyone as prom king and queen, then provides a limousine ride to a red-carpet entrance for a fun night featuring a catered meal, games, karaoke, dancing, and more.
