- Years-Long insurgency by Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province has driven repeated attacks in the North-east, with ISWAP deploying armed drones and raids occurring less than two days after Ngoshe community was attacked.
- The air component of Operation HADIN KAI conducted precision strikes that neutralised Saddam, Saleh Garin Kago, Ba Alayi Benbem and Hussaini Ubaida, while intelligence indicates over 18 commanders and 42 fighters were eliminated.
- The military confirmed some soldiers were killed, with Mr Uba saying 'Regrettably, a number of brave soldiers paid the supreme price...', and troops, supported by reinforcement teams, are recovering weapons and equipment.
- Defence Headquarters reported nationwide operations between Feb. 28 and Mar. 6 neutralised scores of terrorists, intercepted about 51,000 litres of stolen crude oil and saw Operation SAVANNAH SHIELD neutralise more than 17 terrorists.
