Nigeria will work with US and UK to investigate cocaine cartel, anti-narcotics agency says
- On Tuesday, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency announced seizure of 1,000 kilograms of cocaine at Tincan Port, Lagos, valued at over 338 billion naira .
- Port operators found the shipment last weekend concealed in an empty container, and the seizure was formally transferred to the NDLEA on Tuesday.
- US Drug Enforcement Administration and UK National Crime Agency officers have joined the ongoing investigation, NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi said, responding swiftly to unravel the cocaine cartel.
