Nigeria: UTME 2026 - JAMB Releases More Results, Total Nears 1.9 Million
- On Friday and Saturday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board released 1,264,940 additional results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination .
- The UTME is Nigeria's centralized entrance examination held annually for tertiary institution admission, with over 2.2 million candidates registered for the 2026 exercise.
- This latest release brings cumulative results to 1,897,692, following the initial 632,752 results released from Thursday, April 16 examination.
- According to board spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, candidates can check results by sending "UTMERESULT" to 55019 or 66019 using their registration phone number.
- With the examination still ongoing in multiple sessions daily at accredited CBT centres nationwide, JAMB expects to release additional results in phases until testing concludes.
