- On Friday, Sally Tibbot Consulting Limited accused the Osun State Government of payroll fraud and non-implementation of its recommendations, with legal counsel Jiti Ogunye speaking for its leaders.
- Sally Tibbot Consulting Limited was formally engaged in April 2023 and executed a contract on 22 May 2023 to verify and reengineer the Osun State Government payroll, deploying 125 staff for a six‑month fieldwork period.
- The forensic audit found 29,004 staff and 17,918 pensioners, with 8,452 alleged ghost workers receiving salaries without valid records, reducing the payroll to N3.34 billion and saving N13.72 billion annually.
- The government said in Osogbo that a re‑verification found many listed as ghost workers were legitimate, proposed payment based on about 1,316 verified unseen workers, and ordered salary stoppages from July 2025.
- Sally Tibbot said it would not retract its findings despite security threats and evidence, urging the EFCC and ICPC to probe suppression and demanding implementation and payment for justice.
