Niger: Repeated Outbreaks Have Been Disturbing Activities in Niamey, Tillabéry and Dosso for the Past Two Weeks

In Niger, electricity cuts have been recurrent for two weeks in the Niamey, Tillabéry and Dosso regions. A situation that complicates the daily lives of the inhabitants, even more so in this hot season. In a statement published on Thursday 22 May, Niger's electricity company Nigelech explains and recognizes a "long period of disruption" and promises to restore the situation "as quickly as possible".
