In Niger, a slight redevelopment of the government was announced on Monday 26 January 2026, by decree of Abdurahamane Tiani. Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine loses the portfolio of Economy and Finance, but retains the position of Prime Minister he has held since August 2023.
