Negocierile actuale privind planul de pace pentru Ucraina „trebuie să țină cont că există o legătură directă între securitatea Ucrainei și cea a Republicii Moldova”. Mesajul a fost transmis, pe 24 noiembrie, de președintele României, Nicușor Dan, după ce a participat, prin videoconferință, la o reuniune a liderilor Uniunii Europene, care au discutat planul de pace pentru Ucraina.
The security of Ukraine is directly linked to the stability of the Republic of Moldova and the whole of the regions. In this regard, Romania's President Nicusór Dan referred to a special meeting of the European Council on Ukraine. The President noted that this aspect should be reviewed in all negotiations held in connection with Ukraine.
Nicushor Dan participated in a video conference of EU leaders on Ukraine. According to a message transmitted to X, the President of Romania highlighted "the direct link between the security of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova", asking for "current peace negotiations to take into account this aspect".
The peace plan proposed by the United States could have serious consequences in the medium and long term, say the leaders of Bulgaria, Romania and Greece. The countries on the eastern and southern borders of the European Union are one after another standing up for Ukraine.
