Nicaragua Commemorates Indigenous, Black and Popular Resistance Day

In the indigenous neighborhood of Monimbó, south of the city of Masaya, lives the largest urban community of the Chorotega descent in Nicaragua. On October 12 they are called to perform the "fajina", the cleaning of the cemetery where their ancestors rest, according to Sputnik Rafael Rodríguez, secretary of the Council of Elders of the community.
