Firefighters past and present urged to register with the CDC's National Firefighter Registry for Cancer

Due to the nature of the job, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) says firefighters have a higher risk of being diagnosed with cancer. The National Firefighter Registry (NFR) for Cancer is working to better understand the link between firefighting and cancer and is asking firefighters past and present to join the NFR.
