Keralam Minister Janeesh raises safety concerns over NH-66 after 8 students killed in accident
The accident occurred on Friday night when the car carrying the students from an engineering college in Tamil Nadu's Dindigul crashed into the rear of a lorry allegedly parked illegally on the highway.
The Panchayat President has said that there was a serious lapse on the part of the contracting company that undertook the construction of the national highway in the incident in which 8 youths died in a road accident in Kaipamangalam.
Minister O.J. Janish has strongly criticized the National Highways Authority for the accident that claimed the lives of eight engineering students in Thrissur's Kaipamangalam.
