Newsom Calls Nov. 4 Special Election in California on Partisan Redistricting Plan to Counter Texas Move
- On Thursday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom called a special election for Nov. 4, 2025, CBS reported it could cost San Joaquin County up to $4 million and Sacramento County up to $6.8 million.
