Ben-Gvir, along with hundreds of Israelis, raided the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron. While Israeli authorities closed the mosque to Muslims on the grounds of Jewish holidays, the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments emphasized the ban on the call to prayer and the mosque's status as an Islamic endowment.
