Elécam, Cameroon's Electoral Commission, has just published the provisional list of candidates selected for the October presidential election. Thirteen candidates have been selected, among them Paul Biya, the outgoing president, who will run for an eighth term at the age of 92. But his main opponent, Maurice Kamto, is excluded from the race. He still has one final appeal before the Constitutional Council.
