Newly Discovered Drug Kills Malaria Parasites Directly in Mosquitoes

A new active substance is to kill the malaria parasite directly in mosquitoes – and thus make these malaria-free.

In tests, the chemical compound killed 100 percent of the parasites. The antimicrobial agent could be applied to mosquito nets in the future and acts there for over a year.
