The Spanish company UROVESA completed the delivery of the first prototype vehicle VAMTAC ST5 to the Defence Forces of New Zealand (NZDF) on 21 May. According to the communiqué of the New Zealand Ministry of Defence on 16 May, this first prototype departed from the company's factory in Galicia on board one of the new transport aircraft Hercules C-130J-30 of the New Zealand Air Force.
