- Incorporating overhauled TMR joysticks to "resist stick drift and minimise power consumption," the X20 features a regal gold aesthetic and four cooling vents to improve airflow compared to the Xbox Ally X.
- The 7.43-inch OLED display reaches a peak brightness of 1,400 nits with HDR1000 support. Asus also introduced a bundle pairing the device with special edition ROG Xreal R1 X20 AR glasses.
- Although official pricing remains unconfirmed, the special edition bundle will likely exceed $2,000, with Asus planning release ahead of the holidays later this year.

Not too much interest for Asus to go through Intel, from a perf point of view in play and especially under SteamOS it would really be a downgrade I think. not to mention the additional R&D to draw the motherboard based on Intel.
