New weather warnings for snow and ice issued for large swathes of UK
The Met Office warns of snow, ice, and strong winds with 75 flood warnings and 189 flood alerts active across large parts of the UK, urging caution for travel and safety.

- Looking ahead, forecasters expect Thursday into Friday will be largely dry with some clear skies, turning milder towards the end of the week while the public is urged to stay updated.
