North Las Vegas police rescue woman in wash carried away by rushing water

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) - North Las Vegas police were able to rescue a woman after she was carried away by rushing water while inside a wash area on Friday. Officers were called to the wash area near Craig Ranch Regional Park after the woman was heard calling for help. Officers found her and pulled her from the water using stop sticks and a long leash in the area of Losee and Gowan roads. No other details were released by police.
