Fatal Hit-And-Run Crashes Reach Record High, AAA Foundation Study Finds
Hit-and-run crashes are becoming more common, according to new research from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. The study found that 15 percent of all police-reported crashes in 2023 involved a driver who fled the scene, the highest percentage recorded in recent years.
