New Springfield Board of Police Commissioner is former sheriff’s deputy

SPRINGFIELD — Clinton Harris, a retired sergeant of the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department and one of the founders of the Black Behavioral Health Network, has been appointed to the Board of Police Commissioners.Harris is replacing Norman Roldan, who resigned June 30. Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, who made the appointment, put out a call for applications from people interested in serving on the board in early June.
