Red-Light Cameras Returning to Phoenix Streets

WELLINGTON COUNTY, ONTARIO, JUL 15 – The pilot program aims to reduce speeding by enforcing the 50 km/h limit near Sacred Heart Catholic School, with a 17% average speed decrease reported at other camera sites.

Near two years after the administration recommended their return, Phoenix City Council last week approved spending $12 million to bring photo enforcement cameras back to city streets.
