The National Health Service (NSS) concluded the classification of the National Register of Users (NUR), with 10.77 million registered, with a coverage rate of 87% family physician, was announced today.
More than 160,000 users did not meet the conditions to keep a family doctor because they live outside the country or because they do not have any records of SNS use in the last five years.
The SNS concluded the reorganization of the National Register of Users, which counts 10.77 million registered in primary health care. Although 87% have family physician, more than 1.36 million continue to wait for allocation, with Lisbon and Vale do Tejo presenting the lowest coverage rate in the country.
The Algarve region has 80% of eligible users with a family doctor, seven points below the 87% registered in the country as a whole.
