Alzheimer Europe has launched the "The Prevalence of Dementia in Europe 2025" report, which provides updated prevalence figures for the number of people living with dementia both for Europe as a whole, as well as the countries within. The report builds upon Alzheimer Europe's previous work in the "Dementia in Europe Yearbook 2019."
There are over 1 million and 430 thousand Italians who today live together with dementia, a number destined to rise, with cases that are expected to become 2 million and 200 thousand by 2050, recording an increase of 54%. (ANSA)
