Government presents state budget proposal this Thursday afternoon. Miranda Sarmento said, in Parliament, that the sixth reduction of IRS since 2023 (accounts for a reduction still made by the PS) will go through the updating of scales, the specific deduction and the minimum of existence, thus accumulating a tax dishonour of €2.4 billion
Joaquim Miranda Sarmento states that it is the sixth deduction of the IRS since AD governs. Banco de Portugal still presents more optimistic forecasts for the performance of the Portuguese economy this year.
The value of the reduction already discussed is close to EUR 3 billion by October 2029.
