New Parks and Rec Director Appointed
ITALY, JUL 15 – Belgian designer Meryll Rogge, winner of the 2025 ANDAM Prize, succeeds Francesco Risso to become one of the few female creative directors in luxury fashion today.
- On July 15, 2025, Only The Brave named Meryll Rogge creative director of Marni, replacing Francesco Risso after nearly a decade.
- Amid a yearlong creative reshuffle at Only The Brave, Marni’s woman-led heritage, founded by Consuelo Castiglioni in 1994, shaped the search after Risso’s June departure following his 2016 start.
- Sidney Toledano praised Rogge’s `new vision of femininity imbued with modernity and wearability,` noting her credentials as a 2025 Woolmark Prize finalist and last week’s ANDAM Prize winner.
- It is a great pleasure to welcome Meryll to Marni, said CEO Stefano Rosso, and Rogge becomes the only female creative director in OTB’s roster.
- Amid a wave of upcoming debuts this September, Rogge’s first Marni show remains unconfirmed, but if set for this autumn, her vision will add to September’s lineup of designer reveals.
