NATIONAL CITY – Los Angeles-based national real estate investor Lowe is continuing to invest in the mixed-use transformation of San Diego retail with its $201.5 million purchase of Westfield Plaza Bonita, made in a joint venture with Charleston-based private equity real estate firm Henderson Park.The 45-year-old indoor mall spans over 1 million square feet on 78 acres of land in National City. Its new owners plan to reimagine the property with the addition of mixed-use elements.
