After years of waiting, the EU's carbon tax has finally become part of Norwegian law. Norway is participating in CBAM, the EU's scheme to price greenhouse gas emissions from imports of certain goods from countries outside the EEA. This became clear when the EEA Committee met in Brussels today and incorporated 89 legal acts into the EEA Agreement.
