NEWS IBERIA, La. (KLFY) - A New Iberia man was convicted Thursday of jury tampering. 16th Judicial District Attorney M. Michael Haik says 39-year Travis Layne made attempts to contact a juror in a previously scheduled trial. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for September 29, 2025.
