From today, Cologne and Antwerp are directly connected by train. The new ICE connection runs via Aachen, Liège, Leuven, and Brussels Airport. Two trains run back and forth daily between Cologne Hauptbahnhof and Antwerp Central.
This morning, at ten past eight, the first high-speed train from Cologne arrived in Leuven. Thanks to a new cooperation between the SNCB and Deutsche Bahn, two high-speed trains between Cologne and Leuven will now run every day in both directions.
