New Haven selectboard appoints Barnum to open seat

NEW HAVEN — The New Haven selectboard last week appointed Shauntell Barnum to fill a vacant seat on the town’s top governing panel. The seat was previously held by Chris Bataille, who resigned from the post last month because he had accepted a job out of state.
