New grants for teachers to be retrained through the medium of Welsh

The Welsh Government has opened a new grant to secondary schools this week, to offer teachers the opportunity to retrain through the medium of Welsh. The aim of the workforce capacity development grant is to find innovative ways to tackle short-term staffing problems, increasing the number of teachers and teaching assistants who speak Welsh.
