- Born in Cairns, the incoming governor has served on the Queensland Appeal Court and Supreme Court since December 2018, and held community leadership roles including Chair of the Brisbane Festival Giving Committee.
- Justice Bradley said, "Advocacy for and patronage of a diverse range of Queensland groups is integral to the role," while pledging to uphold constitutional responsibilities with dignity and fairness.
- Bradley will be sworn in on November 1, bringing extensive experience from his distinguished legal career to the state, according to Premier Crisafulli.
