One of the goals of the new German government will be to make the deportation of migrants expelled for crimes to Afghanistan and Syria more regular compared to previous practice, a member of the German Christian Democratic Union (CDU) said in an interview with the daily Bild.
A complete return of migrants from the EU to Syria is currently not feasible, said the head of the International Organization for Migration of the United Nations (IOM) in an interview with Euractiv.
