New First National Bank branch opens for business

First National Bank’s new Highway 27 location is officially open for business. Bank employees, local Chamber of Commerce members, and city and county officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new branch last Wednesday. It first opened on Oct. 29, the same day Publix welcomed shoppers for the first time.
