Justin Hendren was officially sworn in as the city’s Chief of Police by Mayor Christina Muryn on Monday morning. Hendren was named the successor to Chief James Mathias on May 19, and began serving as Acting Chief on May 20. Chief Mathias’ retirement officially became effective June 12.
