PARIS. She had already won a European Championship gold medal in her championship comeback. On Saturday evening, Sarah Sjöström swam for the second time. It ended with another medal – but not another gold. The Swedish swimming star came second in the 50-meter freestyle final.
Sarah Sjöström, 32, won her 98th championship medal. The Swede was two hundredths behind the winner. “It was amazing,” she tells SVT.
