New election and impeachment law takes effect today. Taichung Election Commission receives 64 impeachment cases and still uses old law | Mass impeachment

The amended provisions of the Republic of China's Public Officials Election Removal Act came into effect on the 20th. The Central Election Commission said on the 19th that it had received a total of 64 removal cases, 54 of which were legislators, and the regulations before the amendment were still applicable. However, those who submit cases starting from the 20th will be subject to the new law.
