As world adopts drones, US Army scraps top drone & robot warfare unit
As militaries around the world adopt drones and integrate uncrewed aerial systems into their battlefield doctrines, the US Army has decided to disband its most specialised unit dedicated to drone and ground robot warfare. The unit will instead be reassigned an airborne infantry role.
