In a number of media outlets, as well as in the telegram blogosphere, false information is being spread about non-payment of insurance funds in connection with the crash of an Azerbaijani Airlines (AZAL) passenger plane on December 25, 2024 near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.
The insurance process for the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Kazakhstan has been completed. The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the majority of the compensation, totaling 1.03 billion rubles, has been paid to the passengers. The claims of 46 people have been fully met, and other payments are ongoing.
